Shipping & Delivery

At Lapphund Designs, every item is made to order using premium materials and fulfilled by our production partner Printful. This model eliminates excess stock, reduces waste and ensures that each product is crafted just for you. Below you'll find details on production times, delivery estimates, shipping rates, tracking, customs, delays and your rights if an order doesn’t arrive.

Good to know: Production (fulfillment) happens first, followed by carrier delivery. Your total timeline is fulfillment + shipping.

1. Fulfillment & Shipping Process

Fulfillment: Once you place an order, it goes into the production queue at the Printful facility nearest to your shipping address. Most orders are produced within 2–7 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation email when production begins and another when your item ships.

Shipping: After fulfillment, carriers such as USPS, Canada Post, DHL, FedEx or regional partners handle delivery. Shipping times vary by region (see tables below). Please note that busy seasons or unexpected events (e.g., weather delays, customs processing) may impact delivery.

2. Estimated Delivery Times

Below are typical delivery windows once your order has been shipped. Times are listed in business days. Please remember these are estimates; your actual delivery may vary based on location and local carrier performance.

Orders with multiple items may ship in separate packages if produced at different facilities.

3. Shipping Rates

Our shipping rates are calculated in real time at checkout based on your destination, package weight and carrier rates. Typical starting rates are listed below for reference:

Rates may increase for larger orders, multiple items or remote locations. Final shipping costs will be displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.

4. Order Tracking

As soon as your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link via email. Please allow up to 24–48 hours for tracking information to start updating. If your order contains items fulfilled at different facilities, you’ll receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment.

  • Missing tracking email? Check your spam or junk folder. You can also log in to your account to view order status or contact us and we will resend the tracking information.
  • Tracking shows delivered but you can’t find the package? Check with neighbours, building management or your local post office. If you still can’t locate it, contact us within 14 days so we can investigate.

5. International Shipping & Customs

We proudly ship worldwide. Please be aware that orders shipped outside of your country’s customs zone may incur duties, VAT, or import fees upon arrival. These charges are set by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the recipient. We cannot predict or control these fees. To avoid surprises, we recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before placing an order.

International shipments may also experience additional delays due to customs processing. This is beyond our control, but we will assist in tracking and updating you on the status where possible.

6. Delays & Non‑Delivery

If your package hasn’t arrived within the estimated delivery window, please reach out to us. We will contact Printful and the carrier to investigate. Although rare, packages can be delayed by weather, customs or carrier backlogs.

Under British Columbia’s consumer protection law, if your order is not delivered within 30 days of the “supply date” (or within 30 days of your order if no supply date is specified), you may cancel the contract and we must refund your payment. If this situation arises, please notify us in writing. We will issue a full refund within 15 days and provide instructions for returning any goods received.

7. Lost or Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged or appears lost in transit, notify us within 14 days of the expected delivery date. We’ll work with Printful and the carrier to resolve the issue. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement shipment at no cost or a refund.

  • For damage claims: Provide clear photos of the item and packaging.
  • For lost packages: Confirm that your shipping address was correct and that the package isn’t awaiting pickup. We may request a carrier case number.

We reserve the right to refuse claims made after the 14‑day period or without adequate documentation.

8. Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

If you provide an incorrect or incomplete shipping address and the package cannot be delivered, it will be returned to the sender. We can reship your order once the address is corrected; however, additional shipping fees may apply. To prevent this, please double‑check your address at checkout.

Tip: If you realize you made an error in your address immediately after placing your order, email us right away. We may be able to update the address before your item is fulfilled.
